Coronation Street's Yasmeen collapses with worst panic attack yet

Coronation Street's Yasmeen Metcalfe has to be rushed to hospital next week after suffering another panic attack.

Yasmeen (Shelley King) is struggling to cope following the ordeal she experienced with her abusive husband Geoff, which is still taking an understandable toll on her.

In next week's episodes, Geoff's son Tim (Joe Duttine) makes a big decision after coming out well from his father's will.

Tim chooses to transfer everything over to Yasmeen, which will help to solve her financial troubles.

Although this is good news for Yasmeen, she becomes uneasy at the constant mentions of Geoff.

Things come to a head when Tim calls at Speed Daal with the paperwork for the transfer of Geoff's assets.

Yasmeen suffers a panic attack and flees from the restaurant, before locking herself in Number 6.

Yasmeen's behaviour takes a worrying turn as she convinces herself that she's going back to prison.

Soon afterwards, Yasmeen struggles to breathe and clutches her chest in serious pain.

Alya (Sair Khan) and Tim have to force themselves inside the house to rescue Yasmeen and get her to hospital.

Once Yasmeen is there, the doctors confirm that she suffered a major panic attack which was brought on by stress.

Alya is full of worry for her gran, concerned that she'll never recover from her ordeal with Geoff.

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, March 3 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
