Coronavirus: Hajdu says Canada in talks with Pfizer over update to freezer requirements

Health Minister Patty Hajdu on Friday spoke about the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine saying new data shows that it could be kept in pharmacy freezers instead of the current ultra-cold freezers, which would allow easier transport of the doses to remote and low-income regions. She said while Pfizer has not applied for a change in Canada, they have been in discussions and would review the update if or when it is made.
