Coronavirus: Health minister details new COVID-19 measures affecting land and air travellers entering Canada

Federal Minister of Health Patty Hajdu detailed on Friday the new COVID-19 measures to be applied to non-essential travellers crossing the land border, and air travellers entering the country, which include providing a negative COVID-19 test result upon arrival, taking a COVID-19 test at the point of entry, and the requirement for air travellers to reserve a 3-night stay at a government-authorized quarantine hotel, at their own cost, while awaiting their COVID-19 test result.
