Coronavirus: Minister Anand says Conservatives rejected vetting proposal which would have eased their worries over procurement

Minister of Public Services and Procurement Anita Anand on Monday argued that the Liberal government's proposal to have the Privy Council's Office vet COVID-19 contracts, as opposed to the clerk of the House of Commons, which was rejected by the Conservatives, would have given them greater assurances over the risks from procurement standpoint.
