Coronavirus: Toronto introduces new workplace restrictions to limit spread of COVID-19

Toronto’s medical officer of health Dr. Eileen de Villa introduced new workplace restrictions aimed at limiting the spread of COVID-19 during an update on the city’s response to the pandemic. Employers are now required to “immediately notify” Toronto Public Health if two or more employees are infected with COVID-19, and designate a point-person to be in contact with health officials, along with other new measures.
