Coronavirus: Vaccinations underway in 400 Indigenous communities, minister says

Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller on Wednesday said that vaccinations were underway in 400 Indigenous communities, with more than 83,000 doses having been administered as of Tuesday. He said vaccines have been delivered to 25 per cent of adults in First Nations, Inuit and territorial communities, a rate six times that of Canada's general population, and stressed Indigenous people should be prioritized in provincial vaccine rollouts.
