Chris McArthur, 23, plead guilty to trafficking cocaine Tuesday following a Sarnia drug bust early last year.

During the 2019-20 winter Sarnia Police’s Vice Unit and the Lambton OPP Street Crimes Unit received info from a confidential informant that cocaine was being trafficked out of an apartment on Whitmore Avenue. Officers secured a search warrant for the unit and entered the evening of Jan. 23, 2020.

Inside were McArthur and three other men who were all arrested. Court heard officers found 13.45 grams of cocaine, worth around $1,350, drug paraphernalia, Xanax and codeine pills and $1,000 cash.

Justice Deborah Austin ordered a pre-sentence report and adjourned the case to Sept. 8. McArthur has no criminal record.
