Addison Hall funeral: Costco matching donations

The superstore Costco will accept donations from the public at its two London, Ont., locations for the family of a six-year-old girl hit by a car that crashed into one of the stores last Friday.

Addison Hall died and her pregnant mother and young sister were injured when a car crashed through Costco's front doors.

Police are examining whether the car was mechanically sound or if other factors were involved.

Costco says any incoming donations will be matched dollar-by-dollar up to $50,000.

There's also a separate online donation drive.

A public candlelight vigil for the girl is scheduled for Wednesday night.

A makeshift memorial of flowers and stuffed toys formed at the store's entrance over the weekend.

Danah McKinnon Bozek, Addison's mother, was rushed to hospital and underwent an emergency caesarean section. Her condition was upgraded to fair on Sunday. Police say her newborn daughter, along with the woman's three-year-old daughter, Miah Bozek, remain in critical condition.
