A couple charged in connection to a string of robberies across Central Saskatchewan last year had more court appearances.

Cody Kemick, 37, remains in custody and had an appearance scheduled in Saskatoon Provincial Court on March 15. His matter was adjourned to March 18. He also has an appearance scheduled in Swift Current Provincial Court March 31.

Kemick is charged with 10 counts of possession of stolen property, four counts of break and enter to commit theft, theft and mischief, and breach of probation and theft under $5,000. He was additionally charged with possession of child porn.

Kemick and Chantal Dubois were arrested in May 2020 after Saskatoon Provincial RCMP GIS, along with officers from Saskatoon, Outlook, Rosetown and Humboldt detachments, raided Kemick’s Saskatoon home. Police seized about $35,000 worth of stolen property, including tools, computers, electronic devices, ammunition, cheques, hair salon products, lottery tickets and clothing. Police say the items were stolen from businesses, residences and vehicles in Saskatoon, Unity, Lucky Lake, Dinsmore, Rosetown, Kerrobert, Aberdeen, Humboldt, Milden, and Conquest.

Dubois was charged with one count of break and enter, and seven counts of possession of stolen property. She appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court on March 11 and the matter was adjourned to March 31.

The charges against Dubois and Kemick haven’t been proven in court.
