Infectious Disease expert Dr. Sumon Chakrabarti says the blame-based messaging that put the onus on people across the province to ’stay home’ overlooked the real problems including issues in long-term care and workplace-to-home transmission of the virus. One of the biggest flaws in the doctor’s mind was the 'scare-mongering’ messages that were sent to Ontarians over the summer, urging them that young people could die from COVID-19 if they weren’t careful.
