COVID-19: Ontario introduces multiple new restrictions to help contain Omicron spread

Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott provided details Monday on the province’s new restrictions to help contain the spread of the Omicron COVID-19 variant. The new restrictions include moving schools online, reducing social gathering limits, and closures and capacity limits for businesses. The restrictions take effect on Jan. 5.
