COVID-19 vaccine: This is who completely shouldn’t take it

Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Sumon Chakrabarti says the COVID-19 vaccine formula is safe for most people, but those who have anaphylactic reactions should speak to their doctor about the safety of the dosage, or avoid it entirely. The doctor also recommends caution for women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or patients who are immune-suppressed. Parents should also talk to your family physicians about the effectiveness of the vaccine in children under the age of 12, as studies haven’t come up with a conclusive result on what dosage requirements are for young kids.
