Crash kills man, injures another south of Slave Lake
A head-on collision near Slave Lake has left one driver dead and another with injuries.
The crash happened on Highway 2, about 40 kilometres south of Slave Lake, just after 5 a.m. Sunday.
A south-bound truck hit a car going the other direction. The man driving the car was killed; the injuries of the man driving the truck are not specified.
No one else was in either vehicle at the time.
RCMP say they are still investigating the cause, but suspect foggy conditions at the time of the crash may have been a factor.
Traffic is being diverted while police investigate.
