Juventus released a short statement announcing the news, which read:

Cristiano Ronaldo missed four games due to COVID-19

Since his diagnosis, Ronaldo has missed four games for Juventus, the biggest of which included the team’s game against Barcelona. That contest was supposed to feature Ronaldo going up against Lionel Messi, but Ronaldo did not test negative in time to return to action. In Ronaldo’s absence, Juventus went 1-1-2.

Juventus is schedule to play Spezia on Nov. 1. The team has not announced whether Ronaldo will be available for that contest.
