  • Emma Corrin has been photographed shooting another scene for The Crown Season 4.

  • The relatively unknown actress is portraying Princess Diana in new episodes.

  • Corrin looked exactly like the Princess of Wales as she filmed a scene re-creating her royal wedding rehearsal.

Fans will be well aware that Season 4 of The Crown is set to tell the story of Prince Charles' romance with Princess Diana.

While Josh O'Connor already plays Prince Charles perfectly, he's set to be joined by actress Emma Corrin as Princess Diana. The pair has been photographed re-creating several events from the couple's real life, including their royal tour of Australia. And just this week, Corrin stepped out for a re-creation of Prince Charles and Diana's wedding rehearsal.

The royal couple got married at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, but filming took place at Winchester Cathedral in the south of England, which will act as a stand-in. From Corrin's blue floral dress, to her neutral pumps, the actress perfectly re-created the outfit worn by the real Princess Diana to her wedding rehearsal in 1981.

One fan took a trip to the landmark location and snapped a photo inside. The caption read, "A quick trip to the Cathedral and a spot of time travel. Stumbled upon the set of The Crown Season 4. Tomorrow it will be transformed into St Paul's for Diana's wedding prep."

Actor O'Connor previously told BAZAAR.com, "Emma's doing a brilliant job, and it's breathtakingly accurate; she looked the spitting image [of Diana], and it's kind of extraordinary. So that's kind of spooky."
