Crystal Palace vs Southampton: Prediction, TV channel, live stream, H2H, team news - Premier League preview

Crystal Palace will be without captain Luka Milivojevic for the final match of his three-game ban as Roy Hodgson’s side take on Southampton under the lights at Selhurst Park tonight.

These two played out a 1-1 draw at the end of December, a good point for Palace at St Mary’s considering the Saints’ form of late.

Southampton have four of their last six Premier League matches, with Danny Ings having scored ten goals in his last 12 top flight matches.

What Palace would do for a striker in that kind of form…

Date: Tuesday, January 21, 2020

Venue: Selhurst Park, London

Kick-off time: 7.30pm GMT

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Southampton

Palace has drawn each of their last four Premier League matches, and Southampton would take a point here.

However, don’t rule out an away win for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side. The Saints are in great form and boast a fantastic record in the top flight against Palace.

Crystal Palace team news (from Jack Rosser)

Six senior players are still missing for the Eagles, with suspended captain Milivojevic among them.

Max Meyer has returned from his injury to offer Hodgson some small relief though after such an impressive performance at the Etihad the German will do well to unseat either Jordan Ayew out wide or James McCarthy in the midfield.

Fresh from his debut goal Cenk Tosun should lead the line once more.

With Palace out of the FA Cup, come Wednesday morning Hodgson will have a 10-day break to help get those nearing a return back to full fitness.

Crystal Palace predicted line-up (4-3-3): Guaita; Ward, Tomkins, Cahill, Reidewald; Kouyate, McArthur, McCarthy; Ayew, Zaha, Tosun

Southampton predicted line-up (4-2-2-2): McCarthy; Cedric, Bednarek, Stephens, Bertrand; Hojbjerg, Ward-Prowse; Armstrong, Redmond; Ings, Long.
