Cyclist, 45, dies after being hit by bus in Tower Hamlets
A cyclist died after being struck by a bus on the Isle of Dogs.
The police were called before 12.30am on Saturday to the collision on Westferry Road in Tower Hamlets.
The Met Police and the London Ambulance Service attended and the cyclist, a 45-year-old man, was treated at the scene.
Despite the efforts of the medical team, he died at the scene.
Police have been in contact with his next of kin and continue to support them.
The driver of the bus stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries. There has been no arrest.
