2020 has been a banner year for Cynthia Erivo. The 33-year-old English actress has been lauded for playing the titular character in Harriet, cumulating in several nominations, including the much coveted Oscar. She has also garnered a great deal of praise for her red carpet looks at this year's awards show circuit: a sparkling black number by Thome Brown at the Golden Globes, and a mosaic dress by Fendi at the Critics' Choice Awards.

She continued the momentum at the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards, donning a colorblocked voluminous gown by Schiaparelli. The look featured an orange bandeau-style bodice and a larger-than-life hot-pink skirt with two tiers. Indeed, the latter color is a signature of the storied French couture house, one that only the most fashion-forward can pull off with gusto. And Erivo certainly achieved that. She also wore a mix of cuff an drop diamond earrings, and a diamond necklace.

Her stylist Jason Bolden called her ensemble a "fantasy" on Instagram, and fashion designer Jenna Lyons called it "stunning" on the red carpet—and one of her favorite looks of the night. Suffice it to say, we agree with both of them.
