Dance Teacher Caught Having Sex With Teenage Student By Husband’s Private Detective
A dance teacher has been jailed after her husband’s private detective caught her having sex with a 17-year-old student.
Amber Telford, 33, and the unnamed teenager had been caught out in a series of romps at her dance studio as well as inside her mum’s house and even her CAR.
Her estranged husband had hired the private investigator to follow his wife’s movements and she was discovered naked with the teenager under a blanket.
Their clothes were reportedly found “strewn all over the floor” after one of their romps.
Telford, from Taylorsville, Utah, is a former NBA cheerleader and her relationship with the student started after they flirted during lessons.
It soon became sexual after she began buying him clothes and paying for him to travel to Disneyland for a dance contest.
A court report claimed that Telford would pick the boy up for in the middle of the night and drive him to various locations for sex.
It stated: “She started by flirting with (the teen) and eventually began a sexual relationship with him that occurred at her home, her mother’s home and also in a vehicle belonging to Amber.”
Telford apparently picked up the boy in the middle of the night for sex.
Their relationship was discovered in November last year - two months after Telford filed for divorce from her husband.
She has been jailed for 30 days after pleading guilty to unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
The court also ordered Telford to perform 150 hours of community service, complete probation and register as a sex offender.
