The former Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member shares her kids with ex-husband Thomas Staub. The couple were married for 14 years, during which they welcomed Christine in 1993 and Jillian in 1998. The reality TV star and the businessman divorced in 2007.
Danielle has called her children the “loves of her life” and has even given them credit for having her back while she was on RHONJ. “I honestly had no idea what unconditional love felt like until I gave birth to my daughters,” Danielle said on her podcast, Absolutely, in 2020.
The feeling is mutual, as Christine and Jillian have publicly expressed their support. “I don't care what any TV viewer believes her to be, or how any media outlet defines her. I know who she is, and I admire her,” Christine wrote, per Vice.
While Christine and Jillian are private on social media, Danielle often shares glimpses of her relationships with them, including celebrating birthdays and enjoying holidays together. The former Bravo star has also thanked them for helping her feel loved during milestones.
“SUPER SPECIAL THANKS to my daughter @_jillianstaub for always making each day beautiful by celebrating my life, dignifying and blessing me as your Mom,” Danielle wrote in an Instagram post about her 60th birthday.
Here's everything to know about Danielle Staub’s daughters: Christine and Jillian Staub.
Christine Staub, 31
Danielle and Thomas welcomed their first child together, Christine, on Dec. 4, 1993.
Throughout her life, Danielle has cheered on her elder child as she has accomplished different milestones in her personal and professional life.
In 2009, Christine made her runway debut walking for Rebecca Minkoff shortly after landing the cover of The Daily Front Row magazine. Over a decade later, the RHONJ alum looked back on the special moment, noting that her daughter was only 14 years old at the time.
On the education front, Christine graduated summa cum laude from Seton Hall University with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2016. According to Danielle, her daughter was considering going to Columbia University for graduate school but Christine's LinkedIn shows she was pivoted to human resources. She's currently the director of people & integration at the mental health organization Palo Alto Mind Body.
While Danielle took a step away from RHONJ, she still appeared on the show and Christine shared heartfelt words about what her parent is like off-screen. “My mother has a big heart, and I am grateful for the sacrifices she made to provide for my sister and me," she wrote, per Vice.
Most recently, in September 2023, Danielle announced that Christine was engaged to her boyfriend. A few months later, the author wrote a sweet tribute on Instagram to her daughter in honor of her 30th birthday.
“I feel honored and beyond blessed to be with you throughout the years, watch you as you grow into the woman you are today," she wrote alongside family photos.
Jillian Staub, 26
Danielle’s younger daughter, Jillian Staub, was born on May 14, 1998.
A self-taught baker, Jillian’s Instagram page for her baked goods business, Baked With Sweetness, shows off her various dairy-free confectionery creations that can be customized. She also collaborates with other local businesses.
Aside from her baking aspirations, Jillian is also a teacher. Danielle revealed how proud she was of her younger daughter in a 2017 interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish. According to the mom of two, Jillian originally planned to become a lawyer after graduating Monmouth University but she had a change of heart when she attended an Autism Speaks event.
During an open house event, Jillian met children who gravitated toward her. "Jillian’s heart is so warm and welcoming. They all kind of came to her," Danielle said. "She shifted gears and she took her Praxis and ... she’s becoming a teacher for autistic children."
Like her sister, Danielle gave Christine a shout-out on her 25th birthday, which landed on Mother’s Day in 2023.
“Today was an extra special day because my daughter Jillian celebrated her 25th birthday on Mother’s Day, and was generous enough to allow me to have my Mother’s Day,” Danielle wrote on Instagram. “I’m so amazed by you, Jillian, as you continue to grow as an incredible young woman. I’m so honored to be your mom."
