Eganville – Dates for the open house and public meeting for the Comprehensive Zoning By-law for Bonnechere Valley have been set.

The open house will be on Thursday, May 19th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Eagles Nest. CAO Annette Gilchrist said, this is not a meeting, just an open house giving the public a chance to look at their property and ask staff questions before the public meeting with council. During the open house, maps will be on the walls for people to see properties and talk to the County of Renfrew planning staff.

The public meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 1st, starting at 6 p.m. at the Eagles Nest.

Mrs. Gilchrist asked if council wanted to take out the two-year hold provision on making changes to the by-law.

“We are going to be amending it ourselves,” she cautioned, referring to the RV section.

Council agreed to remove that restriction.
