DC's Dare to Dream Music Festival coming July 17/18

The Dawson Creek Music Festival is going live July 17 to 18.

DC Dare to Dream Society representative and festival organizer Jeremy Linklater says the free venue has something for everybody in the community with a water slide, a bouncy castle, water balloon fights, late night performances, a beer garden, and more.

The family friendly event will take place in Kin Park - with this year marking its sixth annual.

Linklater says Kin Park one of the few free music venues in Mile Zero and the Peace, and hopes the community will come out to show their support.

"It's a good time for everyone. I've been doing this for a long time, putting on events for six years - nobody does this," said Linklater.

"Nobody puts on events for free. So I hope people take advantage of it."
