Deer Park Left in Ruins After Glass Fire Burns Through Napa Valley Town

Several homes and an elementary school in Deer Park, California, were destroyed by the Glass Fire on September 29.

Local media reported extensive damage to homes, the Foothills Adventist Elementary School and utilities including power lines.

The Glass Fire was over 46,000 acres large and had destroyed 80 residences across Sonoma and Napa Counties by September 30, according to CAL FIRE.

Evacuation orders were in place for more communities in Sonoma and Napa Counties.
