Demi Lovato Got a New Ear Piercing and Didn't Even Flinch
COVID-19 shut down pretty much the entire world, including hair salons, nail salons, restaurants, and tattoo and piercing parlors. Now that things are safely reopening around the country, people are slowly getting back to their normal lives. For many celebrities, this means getting their glam squad back and making hair transformations, but for Demi Lovato, it's all about getting a few new piercings.
Lovato is known for her wild vocal talent, above all, but fans are also enthralled with her commitment to dainty body modifications. Remember when she debuted her tattoo of the word "survivor" on her neck? Talk about a strong statement piece. Now, for a change of scenery, she's at a piercing studio. The singer posted a video while getting her second holes pierced on her Instagram stories and her reaction to a needle going through her skin proves she's basically a superhero.
Lovato wore a mask during her piercing and it was so quick and painless, her friend in the background even asked "is it done?" The singer held the camera during the process and didn't even flinch. She chose to go with the mismatched trend for her new piercings. For her left ear, she chose a star-shaped stud and for the right, she went with a crescent-shaped moon. She paired her new second holes with hoops in her first holes, which created a super chic look.
Though she squealed after seeing the final look, that's the only time she made a noise — a slightly different reaction from the time Cardi B got dermal piercings, though that is an entirely different type of procedure. We can't wait to see what other fun jewelry looks Lovato plays with once her piercings have healed.
