Demi Lovato's Butterfly French Manicure Is Inspired by a New Song She's Writing
Without a doubt, one of the most common summer manicure hues is bright, pearly white. So far this year, we've seen Victoria Beckham and Kylie Jenner wearing the luminous shade. But for Demi Lovato, her summer manicure includes its fair share of white, plus color, detail, and even song inspiration.
Lovato has been winning the manicure game lately. Did you see the red jelly nails she wore for her engagement photos? So cool. Now, the singer is wearing a new kind of nail art, and it's all about butterflies.
The pop star shared the nailfie (that would be a nail selfie) to her Instagram stories for all of her followers to see. The art consists of a deep French manicure with a pink border where the white meets the nude base of the nails. The acrylics have extremely detailed butterflies intricately painted on each finger.
Lovato wrote over the photo: "Guys I'm writing a song called butterfly rn." This means that not only are we getting gorgeous nail inspo, but we're getting new music soon, too.
This isn't the first time we've seen butterfly nail art on a celebrity. Exactly one year ago, butterflies were a major manicure trend. Even Kylie Jenner, one of the nail-art queens in the A-lister community, wore a detailed butterfly design.
