Deputy Speaker of the House condemns ‘unparliamentary language from both sides’

Speaking to the House of Commons during question period on Thursday, Deputy Speaker Chris d’Entremont addressed the Conservative Party’s accusation that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau used profanity from the prior day. D’Entremeont said that though the Chair could not definitively determine the language used in this instance, he has heard “unparliamentary language” from both sides of the house and urged members to observe the rules of decorum.
