Did local favorite breakfast spot near Myrtle Beach close? It’s known for its pancakes

A breakfast spot near Murrells Inlet appears to have shuttered its doors for good.

Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin previously operated a location on Highway 17.

Now, Google Maps says it is permanently closed.

A call to the restaurant’s listed phone number did not go through on Thursday morning. An automated voice message said the number was no longer recognized.

The exact reason for the business’ permanent closing is unknown.

Flapjack’s is a chain of breakfast restaurants that originated in Eastern Tennessee. The company’s website no longer lists any locations in South Carolina.

The restaurant’s menu includes eggs served with country fried steak and gravy, sticky buns pancakes and banana nut pancakes.
