Dish’s awesome $20 cord cutter package just got even better
Dish’s Sling TV package for cord cutters was already very tempting and now the company has just sweetened the pot once again. Per Engadget, Sling TV this week has added both AMC and IFC to its service that lets you stream several different cable channels online for $20 a month. The bad news is that right now the service is only letting you stream shows on these channels as they air but it promises that on-demand streaming will be coming soon. Together, the two channels offer critical favorites such as Mad Men, Better Call Saul and Portlandia, so their additions really do make the Sling TV package more compelling.

Dish first unveiled Sling TV in January as a $20-per-month TV streaming service that will also give you access to ESPN, ESPN 2, the Disney Channel, ABC Family, Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, TNT, CNN, TBS, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. You can watch Sling TV over multiple devices including Roku, Fire TV, Android TV and Xbox One, as well as through iOS and Android devices.
2015 will be the year when the traditional cable bundle finally comes unglued. HBO is expected to launch its own streaming service in April just before the next season ofGame of Thrones launches. When you combine that with what Dish will offer with Sling TV and then what you can get on both Netflix and Hulu, and you may never have a need to subscribe to an expensive cable bundle again.
