Dish just gave you another reason to subscribe to its awesome Sling TV service
If you were on the fence about whether to subscribe to Dish’s Sling TV streaming service, the company just gave you a very tempting reason to take the plunge. Re/code notes that Dish has added AMC to its Sling TV package, which means that subscribing to the service will now give you access to Mad Men, The Walking Dead, Better Call Saul and other highly acclaimed shows.

Dish first unveiled Sling TV in January. The service costs $20 per month and gives you access not just to AMC but also ESPN, ESPN 2, the Disney Channel, ABC Family, Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, TNT, CNN, TBS, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. You can watch Sling TV over multiple devices including Roku, Fire TV, Android TV and Xbox One, as well as through iOS and Android devices.
2015 will be the year when the traditional cable bundle finally comes unglued. HBO is expected to launch its own streaming service in April just before the next season of Game of Thrones launches. When you combine that with what Dish will offer with Sling TV and then what you can get on both Netflix and Hulu, and you may never have a need to subscribe to an expensive cable bundle again.
