If you're not making Halloween cookies, what are you doing? I mean, if we have Christmas cookies, why not Halloween cookies in fun shapes like pumpkins and cats and bats? Just think about it. If you're still not convinced, this recipe for adorable Jack Skellington Halloween cookies will certainly entice you.

This recipe was posted on the Disney Parks Blog quite some time ago, but it was recently resurfaced by Bustle. The cookies look just like our fave pumpkin king from The Nightmare Before Christmas and actually use the recipe for sugar cookies from Tony’s Town Square in the Magic Kingdom Park.

The recipe calls for around 10 ingredients and, besides black food coloring (which you could make with other colors if you really know your color theory!), you probably have most of them on hand already. But if you really wanna make it easy, Disney offers up our very favorite kind of suggestion: You can also just use slice-and-bake cookie dough, bake, and then decorate if you really want a Halloween hack.

We know plenty of you who are obsessed with The Nightmare Before Christmas, so this recipe is the perfect treat to share this Halloween. And, um, technically, these could also be Christmas cookies too! Just make some hats, pop them on top of Jack's head on the plate and bam, suddenly he's Sandy Claws! We love some versatility.

You can find the recipe here and if you're looking for something to pair these cookies with, you can find out how to order the Jack Skellington Frappuccino from Starbucks as well. You're welcome!
