What does Colorado’s Coach Prime (Deion Sanders) think about facing TCU on Saturday?

Deion Sanders and his Colorado Buffaloes are preparing to travel to Fort Worth to open their college football season against TCU, and Sanders was quick to praise the Horned Frogs Tuesday

“Great coaching, great staff, they did the unthinkable last year and I’m proud of them,” said Sanders.

Sanders knows this is not the same TCU team that played for the national title last season, but acknowledged the Horned Frogs still have major talent.

“They lost a lot of men that were really good football players and they replaced them with pretty good football players,” Sanders said.

The Buffaloes head coach also praised 17th-ranked TCU for its preparedness and expressed excitement at the matchup.

“One thing about that team and their head coach, they will be prepared, they will be fundamentally sound, they will come out emotional and play with emotions trying to atone for last season the way that ended, but man this team is a good football team,” said Sanders, “ I’m happy with our opponent and I can’t wait to get up there and see how we stand up to the challenge.”

TCU is favored to win by 21.5 points. Kickoff is 11 a.m. CT Saturday at TCU’s Amon G. Carter Stadium.
