Dog The Bounty Hunter was rushed to the hospital over the weekend after suffering a "heart emergency," TMZ reports.

According to the outlet, Dog "may require surgery" and he was taken to seek medical help from his Colorado home after "feeling a pain in his chest."

Doctors are running tests on the CMT star to determine whether this was a heart attack or not. He will possibly receive corrective surgery.

The scary heath news comes just 3 months after Dog lost his wife of 30 years, Beth Chapman, to throat cancer. She was 51 years old. The couple shared two children, Bonnie Jo and Garry. Beth also had kids, Dominic, Cecily, from a previous marriage.
