Dog Joins Owner in Watching Videos of Late 'Brother' After Hearing His Bark

A dog in Goodyear, Arizona, joined his owner in watching old videos of his late “brother” after he heard his whines and barks coming from a laptop.

Touching footage filmed by Cecelia Fales shows her dog Yuki moving closer to the screen to watch the footage of Clover, who had died a couple of days previously.

Fales told Storyful that 14-year-old Clover had to be put down as he had been quickly deteriorating from “likely cancer, heart disease, and old age”.

“Clover was my childhood dog who had been by my side since I was a little girl,” she said. “As I was reminiscing of the good times and watching old videos on my laptop his younger brother Yuki came running into my room because he heard Clover’s barking and whining and that is when I took this beautiful moment to remember.”

She told Storyful that the pair had a “brotherly bond” ever since she brought Yuki home as a four-week-old pup, adding that he spent every day “looking up to Clover”.

“The video made me realize how much dogs truly do feel and show emotions like humans do,” Fales said. Credit: Cecelia Fales via Storyful
