Dog Left In Car Is Just Chilling With The Air Conditioning On, Sign Insists

One Twitter user spotted an unusual sign in the window of a car and the internet has gone wild for it.

The photo shows a dog sitting placidly inside a black car, with a sign attached to the window requesting that worried passers-by do not smash the window.

Dogs left in cars with the windows rolled up can overheat and expire, but this dog’s owner insisted, via the note, that he was fine.

“Please don’t break the window,” the sign reads. “The A/C is on. He has water and is listening to his favourite music.”

Although no one has been able to verify the note (some Twitter users suggest that it was faked for retweets - of which it currently has over 56,000), it makes for an enjoyable image anyway - what is the dog’s favourite music? The Baha Men’s 2000 hit Who Let The Dogs Out? Philadelphian alt-pop outfit Dr. Dog? Bach?

But in all seriousness, if you are worried about a dog left in a car with or without a note expressing his comfort, you should call the RSPCA. The charity’s 24-hour line is 0300 1234 999.
