Dominique Anglade resigns as leader of Quebec Liberal Party

Almost seven years to the day after Dominique Anglade was first elected, she made the decision to step away from provincial politics. Anglade made history as the first woman of colour to lead a provincial party but her leadership was criticized by former Liberals after a crushing defeat in the fall election and the recent expulsion of a caucus member.
