Donate to CANstruction, help the food bank
CBC Edmonton is taking part in this year's CANstruction to help local food banks. We need your donated cans to help build our creation and help the less fortunate.
We're even bribing you with cute can-related jokes from adorable children. Listen to kids from Mrs. Koziak's Grade 3 class at St. Clement School as they perform their best material.
In CANstruction, teams build structures out of cans, raising money and food for local food banks. We need:
Tuna and condensed soup
Cans with colourful labels (red, green, blue, yellow and white)
We need at least 2,000 cans. You can bring donations down to CBC Centre Stage in City Centre Mall until April 25 at 6pm. To learn more about CANstruction, check out their website.
