One person was killed and three others injured in a series of four Russian artillery strikes on the village of Drobysheve in frontline Donetsk Oblast, regional governor Vadym Filashkin reported on Telegram on May 31.

The assault left four private residences and four vehicles completely destroyed, and also inflicted damage on five other houses, an administrative building, and several additional facilities within the village.

Public broadcaster Suspilne noted that one civilian was hospitalized in moderate condition, while two women, ages 51 and 82, and a 75-year-old man received on-site medical treatment following the attack.

This incident follows closely after an earlier attack on May 29, when Russian forces launched five bombs on the town of Lyman in Donetsk Oblast, resulting in injuries to eight civilians.
