Normally, the month of June would signal the end of the school year and the transition to summer, but this year things are looking a little different for many families across the country.

What hasn’t changed though are the annual savings and sales happening throughout the month on everything from tools and housewares to skincare. Father’s Day is coming up, making now the perfect time to take advantage of savings and find Dad a gift that he will love.

There are also some items that you’re better off waiting for, as upcoming sales will offer better savings than might be available this month. Read on to find out five of the best things to buy this month, and what to skip.

Since Father’s Day is just around the corner, many retailers are offering discounts on hardware and tools to update Dad’s collection. If you are planning on buying your gifts online this year, just be sure to allow plenty of extra time to allow for any potential shipping delays.
