Stockholm Major champions OG took down Royal Never Give Up (RNG), notably featuring OG veteran Anathan "ana" Pham as a stand-in, in the fastest game of the Dota 2 PGL Arlington Major at just 12 minutes.

The whole match, which ended in a 2-0 sweep for OG, was the quickest of the tournament so far, clocking in at 36 minutes.

OG's star offlaner, Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf, proved crucial in the victory, as he finished with a game-high nine kills and four assists against just one death, featuring in 13 of the team's 22 total kills.

The Stockholm Major champions showed that they knew how to take down the winner of the top-seeded Chinese team in Arlington, even if ana was playing against them.

Here is how they pulled off the fastest game win in the Arlington Major and the 11th fastest LAN victory of all time:

OG pulled off a huge outdraft

OG wanted to focus on two things in the game two versus RNG: structure damage and sustain. To that end, Artem "Yuragi" Golubiev was given Lone Druid, a strong laning hero with a high health pool summon that demolishes buildings.

ATF, Tommy "Taiga" Le, and Sébastien "Ceb" Debs provided the team with the sustain they needed.

ATF played Monkey King offlane, an unconventional hero for the role but one that allowed him to heal himself thanks to his Jingu Mastery passive. Ceb's Io and Taiga's Marci provided their allies with both heals and buffs to sustain their onslaught.

The draft by OG allowed them to fight RNG without having to retreat back to the fountain to sustain themselves.

The European squad took down all the tier one towers in the first ten minutes and started diving tier two towers at the 12-minute mark, something RNG's draft was simply not prepared to deal with.

ATF, Ceb put on amazing show in bot lane

OG have highlighted the close relationship between Ceb and ATF in the past.

Both players rose to fame in the offlane role, have roots in the Middle East, and it was Ceb who vouched for ATF to join the team.

In OG's Road to TI documentary, the two players notably took a tour together in ATF's home country of Jordan and discussed what it was like playing for the team.

The duo's close relationship is one of OG's greatest strengths, as they were perfectly in tune with each other during the laning stage.

ATF and Ceb were able to bring down ana four times during the laning stage. Ana's Phantom Lancer simply had no room to play in game two and it was all thanks to OG's offlane combo.

OG is one of the four teams confirmed to attend The International 11. The team is currently ranked fifth in the Arlington Major and has a solid chance of making it to the playoffs.

The PGL Arlington Major will take place from 4 to 14 August and features 17 of the best Dota 2 teams in the world fighting for their slice of the US$500,000 prize pool and 4,570 DPC point pool.
