The downright filthy dangle that broke Canadian hearts

If this is Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson’s “B” move, it’s time to upgrade it.

After failing to convert with an incredibly deft, yet on the same token somewhat questionable between-the-legs drag move with a penalty shot against Canada in their first PyeongChang meeting, the American star wisely chose a more simple – and ultimately lethal – manoeuvre with gold on the line when the Olympic final went to a shootout.

Seriously, the move she put on Shannon Szabados – a world-class goaltender locked in on this night – was truly something to behold.

Albeit unfortunate that it had to end in the manner that it did, claiming there was something cheap about the decisive moment in the main event at the 2018 Olympic Games would be patently false.
