Driver who died in Briggsmore Avenue crash identified as 51-year-old Modesto man

The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office has identified the driver who died in a Sunday morning crash on Briggsmore Avenue as 51-year-old Modesto resident Jeremy Edward Stiller.

Modesto police have said that a 1994 Camaro Z28 crashed into a tree at Rose Avenue at about 11:30 a.m. The driver was ejected and died at the scene, according to the Modesto Fire Department. The Camaro had been eastbound on Briggsmore.

Police spokeswoman Sharon Bear said Monday that the driver did not have any passengers and that no further information was available at this time.
