Driver uninjured after vehicle slams into stopped freight train in Etobicoke

A vehicle slammed into a stopped freight train in Etobicoke early Saturday, but the driver escaped without injuries.

Toronto police said they received a call about the collision at about 1 a.m.

The incident occurred on the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks near the intersection of Norseman Street and Kipling Avenue.

Police said the vehicle ended up under the front of the train and sustained serious damage.

CP police attended the scene as well.
