Drugs, stolen bikes found in Simcoe bust

Police in Simcoe arrested three alleged drug dealers on Wednesday, seizing drugs, weapons, ammunition — and three stolen bicycles.

The predawn raid saw officers from the OPP’s street crime unit search a home on Kent Street just after 6 a.m., according to a media release from Norfolk County OPP.

Police said they found a variety of narcotics inside the house — including suspected crack cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine — along with several knives, an imitation handgun, drug paraphernalia and cash.

Two men, ages 38 and 58, and a 49-year-old woman, all of Norfolk, face drug and weapons charges, and are charged with being in possession of property obtained by crime.

The younger man and the woman are also charged with breaching probation, police said.

The three accused were held for a bail hearing.
