Six Nations police say officers found drugs and weapons at a house near a daycare in Ohsweken on Thursday.

According to police, officers executed a search warrant on Bicentennial Trail and seized a variety of drugs — including fentanyl and methamphetamine — along with replica firearms and unspecified prohibited weapons.

Officers also found a stolen car on the property.

It is not known whether children were at the daycare at the time of the raid.

A 36-year-old man and 26-year-old woman, both from Ohsweken, face drug and weapons charges, along with possession of stolen property and failure to comply with court orders.

The two were held for a bail hearing.

A third accused, a 62-year-old Ohsweken man, faces similar charges but was released on an undertaking with a court date pending.
