I’m someone who believes in fashion first and comfort second. However, this is a story about getting sucked into trends and nabbing the cult classic cold-weather Crocs. After denying the positive reviews for years, I finally experienced the trendy shoe for myself and now I’m officially team Crocs.

Crocs and I go way back. Until November of this year, my only real memory of them was when I was a kid, watching my Dominican hairdresser wear them in navy blue while trudging around the salon doing blowouts. With the changing weather though, these Classic Lined Clogs got the best of me. I caved, and I’m so glad that I did.

The Classic Lined Clogs are just as warm as they are comfy. Upon sliding your foot into the shoe, your toes are greeted with the softness of a fluffy footbed. Plus, the slip-on shoe features a foam construction for added support. Although some will say Crocs are not the most stylish shoe, that’s why I love them. These little guys focus on comfort first. I also have wide feet, and these cold-weather Crocs still give me the extra room needed for my toes. Plus, they come in five chic colors.

Ultimately, it was the DSW reviews that got me to convert.

There are almost 1,000 reviews on these cold-weather Crocs and the shoes have an overall 4.9-star rating. One shopper said they were “perfect for work at home.”

“Most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn,” they wrote. “Perfect for work at home. They’re like slippers around the house and I can walk down to the mailbox or take the dog for a walk.”

Another happy customer explained how they still look good after a wash.

“This is my 3rd pair of lined crocs,” they said. “Extremely comfortable and warm. I have washed them several times and always looks good”

If you ever thought you were too cool for comfort, these Crocs will certainly make you think twice.
