According to blog Meghan’s Fashion, the former actress may well have looked to the Great British high street for sartorial assistance ahead of a recent regal event.

The Duchess attended the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on November 10 in a shoulder-skimming dress and we have to admit, it bears striking resemblance to a £49.50 number by Marks and Spencer.

The news has yet to be confirmed due to a lack of full-length photographs from the evening but it sure seems like fans are on to something.

The double crepe bodycon has yet to fall victim to the ‘Meghan Effect’ therefore is still available in a wide variety of sizes on the website.

While those hoping to bag a festive take on the dress can also invest in the red colourway.

On the evening, the pregnant Duchess finished the look with a Stella McCartney coat she first wore on the couple’s debut trip to Cardiff back in January.

Meghan teamed the all-black ensemble with a £513 pair of matching Manolo Blahnik shoes and a £719 Stella McCartney clutch to finish – which is surprisingly still available to shop.

Though it’s not the first time Meghan has flown the sartorial flag for the British high street, as she sparked national panic after wearing a £45 bell-sleeved knit by the brand on her debut trip to Brixton.

On 16 June, the Duchess of Sussex looked to Marks and Spencer once more for wedding guest attire as she teamed a fascinator by the chain with a toile-emblazoned Oscar de la Renta dress.
