Duke and Duchess of Cambridge release previously unseen Prince Louis photo
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have shared a new photo of Prince Louis in a thank-you card to fans who sent warm wishes to the young royal on his birthday in April.
The heartwarming photograph – taken by Kate at their country residence of Amner Hall in Norfolk – was posted on Instagram by royal fan account Kats Royal Letters.

Louis, who turned two on 23rd April, is seen smiling in the image and wearing a smart navy and white checked shirt. It is part of the series of playful images of the prince released by Kensington Palace on his birthday. The duke and duchess previously posted two images of Louis covered in paint as he enjoyed some colourful finger-painting on his special day.

Enclosed with the new picture was a letter from the duke and duchess, which read: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appreciated your kind though in writing to Prince Louis as you did on the occasion of his second birthday.
"This was greatly appreciated by Their Royal Highnesses who send you their best wishes."
Meanwhile, Kate recently disclosed that Prince Louis has been struggling to follow the social distancing measures implemented as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. He is only two after all.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast, as part of a segment on Tiny Happy People (a new digital resource, providing support for parents and activities for kids), Kate revealed: "I was just saying, Louis doesn't understand social distancing. So he goes out wanting to cuddle everything, particularly any babies younger than him."
Prince Louis is the youngest of three - the eldest being Prince George, who turned 7 in July, followed by Princess Charlotte, who was five in May.
