Durham stabbing kills man, injures woman

Durham police are investigating a homicide after two people were stabbed early Friday morning.

According to ABC11, The News & Observer’s newsgathering partner, police were called to Maryland Avenue just before 1 a.m.

A male victim died from his injuries at a local hospital, while a female victim was treated by Emergency Medical Services for non-life-threatening injuries, ABC11 reported.

Investigators said the stabbing was an isolated incident. The male victim’s name and age have not been released.
