Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber Playfully Weigh In on Their Relationship Status at ‘Wicked’ Premiere
Dancing With the Stars's 33rd (!!!) season is in full swing, and because the folks at ABC can create good reality TV with their eyes closed, the cast is loaded with headline makers. Ahem: Anna Delvey received special permission from ICE to be on the show, Bachelor Nation exes Joey Graziadei and Jenn Tran competed against each other, and two Olympians are in the running for the coveted mirror ball trophy this year. Of course, fans are also tapped into behind-the-scenes aspects of the show every season, and one theory that’s been making the rounds suggests that Jenn is dating her dance partner, Sasha Farber.
Jenn and Sasha have made some interesting nods to their relationship status—but haven't confirmed nor dispelled the rumors. Here’s what we know about the Dancing With the Stars partners’ relationship so far.
Are Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber dating?
As of right now, it’s unclear. Buuut! Fans think that the pair may have chemistry off the dance floor as Sasha called Jenn “babe” in a TikTok posted on Sunday, September 22. “We just stopped at McDonalds,” Sasha said in the clip before asking Jenn for a lick of her ice cream cone.
“Babe, can I have some?” he asked. “It’s my cone. If you wanted a cone, you should have ordered it,” the former Bachelorette replied, denying his request. He then joked, “That is so rude,” as they playfully bickered back and forth about their Mickey D’s order.
While Jenn and Sasha were eliminated from the competition on October 29, Jenn raised eyebrows with a TikTok captioned "Private rehearsals starting ASAP." In the clip, the former Bachelorette lip-syncs to an audio that says "When one door closes, another door opens. We often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the ones that open for us," as she knocks on a door opened by Sasha.
But, wait, there's more—Jenn's brother, James Tran, left a comment on an Instagram Reel she posted on November 3. Jenn shared clips to commemorate her time with Sasha on DWTS set to "Long Live" by Taylor Swift. "From our first rehearsal to our last," she wrote, while her brother commented, "When’s the wedding rehearsal? 🤔" INT-ER-EST-ING!
On November 9, Jenn attended the Wicked premiere in LA with Sasha, where they cheekily commented (or, let's be real, did anything but comment) on their relationship status. When Entertainment Tonight said that pulling up to the premiere together was "not helping the rumor mill," the duo doubled down and cheekily asked, "What rumor?"
"Wait, are there rumors? What are the rumors about? Tell me," Jenn jokingly asked the reporter before Sasha added, "We're just here to watch an amazing movie called Wicked. We're feeling really wicked."
"We're here to dance. I'm here to try to get on Broadway, so...I'm here to prove my skills," Jenn playfully quipped before showing off her dance moves.
Who were Jenn and Sasha linked to before?
Bachelor Nation previously speculated that Jenn might be dating her third runner-up, Jonathan Johnson, after he showed support for her during her breakup with Devin Strader. He also cheered her on in the crowd during the DWTS season premiere. “Honestly, it just means so much,” Jenn told Us Weekly. “He’s such a good friend of mine and to be able to be here in L.A. and to, like, cultivate that friendship with him now, it’s exactly what I need right now is someone to lean on and he’s been exactly that.”
As for Sasha, he was romantically linked to fellow Dancing With the Stars pro Emma Slater before they filed for divorce in February 2023.
Both dancers appeared in DWTS season 32, but Emma revealed there was no bad blood between them during an interview with E! News. “It’s not a nightmare at all,” she said of competing against her ex. “We support each other so much that I want the very best for Sasha. I love him and Alyson together on the show. We support each other, very, very truly.”
