e-bike rider assaulted cyclist in bike lane conflict: police
Police are looking for an e-bike rider after he allegedly punched a cyclist in the face in a downtown Toronto bike lane.
The e-bike rider punched the cyclist several times before riding away, police say.
The confrontation occurred on Oct. 22, when the cyclist was riding eastbound on Harbord Street near Spadina Avenue.
That's when the man on the e-bike "swerved into the bicycle lane, impeding the victim," police said in a release.
The pair continued riding eastbound until they got to Spadina Avenue.
That's when the two stopped, and the e-bike rider punched the cyclist several times in the face, police said.
The cyclist suffered "minor injuries," police said.
The e-bike rider, is described as white, between five feet and ten inches and six feet, with shoulder−length blond hair.
